How fun is this? Jamie and Chris were married on November 11, 2011 and recently celebrated their one year anniversary. I didn't have a blog at the time of their wedding, so I'm taking this opportunity to share a unique and totally cool wedding day. Their wedding date, 11/11/11, is cool in a pretty obvious way, but it was also my birthday and for some strange reason I really really like to officiate weddings on my birthday. | Jamie and Chris were accompanied by Allan Jay, the photographer, mom and me. We met outside the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex and then made our way over to the rocket garden. We picked a suitable location for the photographer and had ourselves a wedding. A little windy, but gorgeous skies, beautiful autumn temperatures and surrounded by technological awesomeness. I'll refrain from space and wedding puns though the effort is killing me. | We did not have much in the way of gawking tourists being mid-day on a Friday. After the ceremony, Jamie and Chris were able to have their portraits taken all over the Visitor Complex and ended up with some fabulous photos. I wish I had the space to share more of them. (Get what I did there?) This is why I advise couples, "Don’t be afraid to show off your silly side, highlight a passion you share or spring a surprise or two." See what I mean! |
