Nicole and Jeff: Sunset at Hightower Park

Nicole is the daughter of Dan Stone, one of the members of the UUCB congregation where I am a Community Minister. I had the pleasure of presiding at her wedding this past Saturday evening a little before sunset. Fortunately, the temperature had dropped a bit after a brutally hot day and we enjoyed a lovely evening breeze.

Jeff and Nicole brought five of their six children with them all the way from Arizona to exchange their vows beside the sea with close family in attendance. They chose a family sand ceremony using the sand from the beach to symbolize their mutual love and support within a new blended family.

Cheryl Clermont of Spacecoast Photographer was on hand to capture their special day. She had some lovely light and a beautiful bride and groom to work with. I also think she did a fabulous job of not tripping over the kids in attendance whose exuberance led them to cross paths with her throughout the ceremony. That takes talent!
