Choosing a place to hold your wedding and/or reception can be a daunting task, but usually one of the first steps in planning your event. Below are quite a few ideas regarding your options in Brevard County, Florida. You can also scroll through the photo galleries for additional ideas. Most of the photos also link directly to venue websites.
I do try to check the links on a regular basis, but webmasters are sometimes ahead of my ability to keep up. If you spot a bad link, please send me an email and I'll fix it. Thanks!
If you know of any great locations for weddings and/or receptions here in Brevard County that aren't listed here, please tell me and I'll be happy to add the venue to this page.
Parks, Civic Centers and Community Centers
The Brevard County Parks and Recreation Department maintains a wide variety of public facilities available for ceremonial use. Whether you dream of a wedding on the beach, prefer a commitment ceremony at a park pavilion or would like a vow renewal during a family reunion at a campground, there is a park in Brevard County for you. Weekend pavilion reservations go fast, so I encourage you to contact the Parks and Recreation Department sooner rather than later. For more information about beach weddings, please visit the Beach Weddings section of my website.
In addition to Brevard County, the cities and towns within the county also have very nice civic facilities available for rent. Visit the Leisure Services page of the Melbourne city website for information on such venues as the Front Street Civic Center. The city of Satellite Beach has a lovely venue, the Pelican Beach Clubhouse, for small to medium sized weddings.
I have listed the most popular public banquet facilities on the right but you are sure to find more by visiting your local municipality's website and browsing their leisure or parks and recreation section.
Hotels, B&Bs, Country Clubs, Banquet Halls, Restaurants
Many of Brevard's hotels, country clubs, restaurants, etc. are available for weddings and may provide wedding consultants and/or facility coordinators. I have experience officiating weddings at many different locations and would be more than happy to provide my honest appraisal of facilities and services. Some facilities are better suited to certain wedding styles and sizes than others.
Keep in mind that some facilities, such as The Tides and the Eau Gallie Yacht Club, require sponsorship by a member of the club. This may very well be the case with other country clubs but I do not know specifics from personal experience. Wherever you have your wedding it will be absolutely beautiful and uniquely your own. Have fun!
Chapels and Churches
If you are interested in a church wedding in Brevard County, but are not members of a local congregation or have inter-faith concerns, there are a few options you can consider.
Given the amount of information, I felt these types of venues deserved a page of their own. So please click here, or on the section heading above, if you are interested in learning more about the churches and chapels available for your wedding here in Brevard County.
I have officiated a wedding at the Rockledge Gardens nursery on US1 in Rockledge, Shore Lanes bowling alley in Merritt Island, and Brevard Museum of History and Natural Science in Cocoa. If you have a favorite store or museum you think might make an interesting wedding venue, it never hurts to ask. You might even get to use the facilities at little to no cost simply for the novelty or potential publicity. The success of your wedding will depend upon mutual consideration and flexibility on both your part and the venue's, but it can be worth it if the location is truly meaningful to you. I'm still waiting to officiate a wedding on an airboat. Obviously not while it's in motion with the engines running of course.
Brevard County Venue Website List
Tides Collocated Club Patrick AFB
I confess to the most familiarity with centrally located venues in Brevard County. I am less familiar with potential sites in the far northern and southern extremes of this long and narrow county, but I am never adverse to a little research. Please understand this is far from a complete list and I welcome recommendations for additional venues.

Beachfront Rental Homes
Brevard County has a number of gorgeous furnished homes along the beach available for rent. I have officiated many weddings at such locations. They tend to be most economical when renting for a week and combining a wedding with a vacation or family reunion. The Bed on the Beach Vacation and Wedding Resort in Melbourne Beach is quite a lovely property and includes tons of photos so you can see it's potential as a wedding venue.
If you have a favorite restaurant and aren't sure they accommodate weddings, just ask them. I have performed wedding ceremonies at the restaurants listed below, so I know for certain they are available for such events.
